Prerna Gram Vikas Sanstha is actively working toward establishing a Women Farmer Producer Company — a farmer-owned collective that places women at the centre of the agricultural economy. This company will enable women farmers to pool resources, access better markets, negotiate fair prices, and scale their produce collectively. It is not just a business structure; it is a movement to ensure that women who feed communities are finally given the power, platform, and profit they have always deserved.
Development of Single Women Farmers
Single women farmers carry the weight of their fields and families simultaneously — often invisible to mainstream agricultural support systems. We specifically focus on this group, offering them targeted training, financial linkages, peer networks, and access to government schemes. By addressing their unique challenges with dedicated programs, we help single women farmers transform from subsistence growers into confident, self-reliant agricultural entrepreneurs — women who not only sustain their households but inspire their entire villages through the power of their resilience.
