PGVS has established good relationships with people in villages through its different
rural development activities, supported by the Government and private Donors. One
of the main activities of the organization is promotion of self-help groups. It has
promoted 965 SHGs with approximate membership of 15,000. It has been engaged in
rural development since its inception. It has reached out to 90 villages from Yavatmal
and Wardha districts. Its major focus is on microcredit and health of women and
children.
